The velatura (glazing) produced by Colorificio Veneziano, combines a highly decorative product with the expertise of a professional painter. With one or more coats of glazing on a white or coloured background, various different effects are obtained to give a very glamorous finish with a patina and shading that only time can give to a wall.
The glazing can be used for decorating white-coated or stuccoed plaster and is perfect for use inside or out. The transparencies of the glazing can be even further exalted by able expert hands with any techniques - brush, roller, sponge, paper, rag, pad, deerskin - with one or more coats to highlight the intensity of the colour.
The final appearance is similar with all these different versions, but each one has a different capacity for letting the wall breathe.
